EFB Users Forum Announcement

This activity provides a unified forum for airlines, system integrators, hardware and software providers, regulators, and other interested parties to present and discuss topics of interest to the EFB user community. This includes but is not limited to EFB subjects such as:

  • Regulatory changes
  • Communication interfaces (including media, provider, connectivity)
  • Data input devices, terminals, displays, and interactive devices
  • Hardware and software development
  • Electrical interfaces and power supply
  • Operational issues

The EFB Users Forum attracts airlines, suppliers, and regulators to discuss operational and technical trends. Speakers are invited to share their experiences and exchange information to identify issues and their potential solutions. This activity provides benefits to the aviation community by:

  • Clarifying in-service issues
  • Supporting operational enhancements
  • Promoting interchangeability of hardware and compatibility of software
  • Increasing competition and product offerings
  • Encouraging harmonized regulations
  • Publicizing EFB developments
  • Advancing new EFB applications

Online Registration 

An EFB Users Forum Badge is required for all activities related to the EFB Users Forum to include the technical meeting, exhibit areas, receptions, etc.

Pre-registration will close on Thursday June 18, 2020. All participants who have not pre-registered by this date will be required to register on site.

On-Site Registration

On-site registration will be conveniently located where the EFB Users Forum and Exposition will take place. On June 30, 2020 registration will be located outside of the Annapolis Ballroom. On July 1-2, 2020 registration will be located outside of the Capitol Ballroom.

Exhibitor Information

The Main EFB Exposition (EXPO) will take place on Tuesday, June 30, 2020 from 2:00 pm to 7:00 pm. EFB suppliers, system integrators, and others will have an opportunity to demonstrate their EFB products and services to the user community. The Main EXPO will include a stand-up buffet. Supplemental EXPO will also be held during coffee breaks and lunch on Wednesday, July 1, 2020. 

The EXPO in Annapolis will occupy two ballrooms: the Annapolis Ballroom and the Senate Ballroom. The first-floor layout shows their relative locations, both on the ground level of the hotel. The two ballrooms are a short walk across the lobby from each other, and both ballrooms will offer drinks and buffet.

Exhibit locations will be reserved on a first come, first served basis.

All individuals participating in the EXPO, the Users Forum, and/or associated activities of the conference must register online to obtain a badge and guarantee seating.
