The Flight Simulator Engineering and Maintenance Committee (FSEMC) provides cost effective solutions to simulator operational and maintenance problems through the widely respected international conference and establishes technical standards that increase simulator readiness and reduce operational costs.
Attended by more than 300 flight simulator experts from around the world, the annual conference identifies technical solutions to engineering and maintenance issues resulting in immediate and long-term savings and increased efficiency for simulator users.

The activities of the FSEMC are led by the FSEMC Steering Committee in accordance with the Terms of Reference approved by SAE ITC. The ARINC Standards Development Document specifies the procedures used to develop voluntary consensus-based ARINC Standards.

Each year, FSEMC encourages the contribution of ideas, leadership, and innovation by allowing individuals to be nominated for the Edwin A. Link Award prior to the annual FSEMC. The award recognizes one individual for outstanding personal achievement. The Edwin A. Link Award has become world-renowned as the simulation industry's highest award for individual achievement.
The Roger S. Goldberg Award recognizes an individual in the FSEMC community who exhibits the characteristics of outstanding personal service and exemplifies the true heart and soul of FSEMC - an FSEMC Most Valuable Player (MVP).

Planning ahead for your departure after the FSEMC is wise, as airline ticketing and the TSA security lines are often lengthy regardless of the time of day.
