• Data Link (DLK) Systems Subcommittee
    Dec 03 - 06, 2019
    Melbourne, Florida

The Data Link Systems Subcommittee develops and maintains ARINC Standards that promote efficient transfer of ACARS and ATS data between the aircraft and the ground. The AEEC DLK Systems Subcommittee meets jointly with RTCA SC-214 and EUROCAE WG-92. Together they monitor CPDLC operation and work at aligning the VHF Data Link (VDL) Mode 2 Industry Standards. These standards benefit the FAA Data Comm and European Data Link Services (DLS) programs.

  • Internet Protocol Suite (IPS) for Aeronautical Safety Services
    Dec 10 - 13, 2019
    Brussels, Belgium

The IPS Subcommittee is leading the development of industry standards for the Internet Protocol Suite for aeronautical safety services. This includes airborne, ground-based, and space-based communication systems. It is coordinating aviation Standards Development Organizations (SDOs), Air Navigation Service Providers (ANSPs), and others with an interest. This activity initiated by APIM 15-004A.

  • European FSTD Technical Group (EFTeG)
    Dec 17 - 18, 2019
    Cologne, Germany

The European FSTD Technical Group (EFTeG) was chartered as a result of feedback from recent FSEMC conferences. The flight simulation industry perceived a need for a forum for simulator operators that are subject to EASA regulations to discuss technical issues. This forum is also intended for EASA flight simulation regulatory representatives to discuss regulatory qualification and compliance questions with operators.

  • Aeronautical Operational Control (AOC) Subcommittee
    Jan 14 - 17, 2020
    Coral Gables, Florida

The goal of this activity is to specify the exchange and format of air to ground and ground to air Aeronautical Operational Communications (AOC) messages. The AOC Standard simplifies the integration of AOC applications from different suppliers, for different airplane types, that are not controlled by the airlines. These messages may be hosted on an Electronic Flight Bag (EFB).

  • Test Program Set (TPS) Quality Working Group
    Jan 21 - 23, 2020
    Schiphol, Netherlands

The aim of this project is to update the ARINC Report 625-3 to emphasize the importance that the OEM provides a Test Specification that is intelligible, unobscured, and complete as possible.

  • Ku/Ka Band Satellite (KSAT) Subcommittee
    Jan 21 - 23, 2020
    Carlsbad, California

The goal of this activity is to develop and maintain Ku-band and Ka-band satellite communication systems that meet operators’ high-performance requirements. The equipment specified in these ARINC Standards are typically used to provide passenger data, video, and voice communication services.

  • Future Concepts for Simulators (FCS) Subcommittee
    Jan 21 - 23, 2020
    Hapeville, Georgia

The meeting is focused on the process of software releases from TDMs, OEMs, and suppliers to Flight Simulation Training Device (FTD) operators, airlines, and training centers.

  • Air Transport - Avionics Service Bulletin (AT-ASB) Harmonization Working Group
    Jan 28 - 30, 2020
    Seattle, Washington

The industry wants clarity to drive consistency between airframers and suppliers, so SBs are the same. The goal of the ARINC Standards guidance document is reduce the variances so that all SBs have the same look and feel. The working group will continue from the last meeting’s developing guidance to reduce any ambiguity.

  • Navigation Data Base (NDB) Subcommittee
