Aeronautical Operational Control (AOC) Subcommittee Meeting Report. Meeting held June 25-27, 2019, in Vienna, Austria.

The AOC Subcommittee initiated the development of Supplement 4 to ARINC Characteristic 633: AOC Air-Ground Data and Message Exchange Format.
The AOC Subcommittee standardizes the exchange and format of Aeronautical Operational Control (AOC) communications. These AOC messages (e.g., de-icing services) are typically provided by various suppliers, are not controlled by the operators, and are shared by multiple airlines on different aircraft types.
The main effort during the meeting focused on reviewing Data Structures proposals submitted for Draft 1 of Supplement 4 to ARINC Specification 633, including structures for:

  • Flight Plan
  • Fuel Header
  • NOTAMs and PIREPs
  • TURB severity
  • Terrain Clearance algorithm 
  • RNP, RSP, RCP Performances
  • Request/Respond
  • GPS 2020 Mandate and RAIM Attributes

The next meeting has not been scheduled.
