Global Aircraft Tracking (GAT) Working Group Meeting Report. Meeting held February 4-6, 2019, in Coral Gables, Florida.
Gables Engineering hosted the Global Aircraft Tracking (GAT) Working Group meeting in Coral Gables, Florida. Chuck Adler, Boeing, is Chairman of this activity. The Global Aircraft Tracking Working Group continued development of ARINC Standards that define Autonomous Distress Tracking (ADT) requirements, aircraft architectures and interfaces, per APIM 17-004.
At this meeting, the GAT Working Group continued to review inputs to ARINC Project Paper 680: Aircraft Autonomous Distress Tracking (ADT). Subgroups reported their progress on the various assigned architectures.
Boeing will continue to lead weekly web conferences on this topic, each Wednesday at 0700 Pacific, 1000 Eastern, and 1600 Central European Time.
The next in-person Global Aircraft Tracking Working Group meeting will be hosted by SatAuth April 2-4, 2019 in Johannesburg, South Africa.
