Timely Recovery of Flight Data (TRFD) Working Group Meeting Report. Meeting held November 13-15, 2019, in Washington, DC.

The National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) hosted the Timely Recovery of Flight Data (TRFD) Working Group meeting at their offices in Washington, DC. Greg Moran, Boeing, is Chairman of this activity. The TRFD Working Group continued development of ARINC Standards that define Timely Recovery of Flight Data (TRFD) requirements, aircraft architectures and interfaces, per APIM 17-005.

At this meeting, the TRFD Working Group continued to review inputs to ARINC Project Paper 681: Timely Recovery of Flight Data (TRFD). Subgroups reported their progress on the various assigned architectures.

Boeing will continue to lead conference calls every third Wednesday at 0700 Pacific, 1000 Eastern, and 1600 Central European Time.

The next in-person Timely Recovery of Flight Data Working Group meeting will be hosted by the Gables Engineering February 10-12, 2020 in Coral Gables, Florida.
